Mr. Hughes, over his forty-seven year brokerage career to date, has leased and/or sold over Forty Five Million (45,000,000) square feet of industrial space and over Twenty Three Million (23,000,000) square feet of office space, primarily concentrated in and along the markets of Interstate 495 and Route 128 (I-95) in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. Property owners and developers in the New England region that Mr. Hughes has represented either in the past and/or today are Atlantic Tambone Corporation, The Baltic Group, Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Charter Development Corp., Cross Services Group, Genesis Management Group, LLC, Haynes Management, Inc., Intrum Corp., Maric, Inc., The Maggiore Companies, Northland Development Corporation, Rosewood Development Corporation and Stonegate Group. Mr. Hughes has also had tenant representation assignments over his career where he has negotiated transactions in states outside of New England, including California, Florida and Illinois. Recent brokerage accomplishments include the sale of seventy-six (76) office, flex and industrial buildings and ten (10) land parcels. The properties sold were located in the Massachusetts communities of Acton, Ashland, Bellingham, Boxborough, Canton, Dover, Framingham, Franklin, Hopedale, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Lexington, Lynnfield, Marlborough, Milford, Natick, Needham, Northborough, Norwood, Oxford, Reading, Sharon, Sherborn, Shrewsbury, Sudbury, Walpole, Westborough and Westwood. Additionally, Mr. Hughes has assembled and negotiated for purchase numerous land parcels in Eastern and Central Massachusetts. Among the assemblages were The 495 Technology Center, Southborough, MA; The 495 Technology Center West, Marlborough, MA; Cedar Hill Business Center, Marlborough, MA; The Grove Street Business Center, Franklin, MA; and The Millwood Farms Golf Course, Framingham, MA.
Mr. Hughes has also been, in the past and currently, an owner/investor and trustee of both suburban industrial and office buildings in the Metrowest market of Eastern Massachusetts.
